An image has leaked from a Chinese toy manufacturer of 5
action figures. The figures are of Kylo Ren, Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy
Ridley), BB8 round droid, and Chewbaca.
The new Star Wars 7 villain, Kylo Ren, wears a Darth Vader
like helmet, with a dome and flared edge. There is a long slit for eye
openings. Indie Revolver posted a photo of a helmet with ridged lines running
around the eyes in yellow. In the final helmet, the yellow has been removed but
the ridges remain.
The faceplate is removable. Perhaps it will come off in a
light saber fight, or as a dramatic reveal of who the Sith is. The Imperial
Storm troopers will also have removable faceplates.
Other pictures of Kylo have leaked, with him wielding a
lightsaber.
Some believe Adam Driver with be playing Sith Kylo Ren. Andy
Serkis has also been rumored to play an alien Sith. Serkis played Gollum in the
Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit movies. He has experience playing inhuman
characters, and will bring that expertise to a Star Wars alien portrayal.
In the action figures, Kylo is a head taller than Finn and Rey. Kylo is an intimidating
character. Finn looks very much like an X-wing pilot. Perhaps he will take on
that role in the movie. Rey looks ready to pick up a lightsaber and become an
apprentice of Luke Skywalker. Chewbaca had his satchel. He does not have a bionic
arm, as depicted in leaked pics, but has something in his hand.
