This is a tale of magic, time travel and love

Fleeing from the cruel warrior prince of the Hittites, the Princess of Egypt calls upon the Goddess Isis, to open a portal. The palace handmaiden Sati lands in a labyrinth in Minoan Crete. A man--or a minotaur--carries Sati off. Sati's boyfriend will do anything to save her, even if it means fighting an undefeated Minotaur.

The warrior king of the Hittites vows to avenge his son. He awakens the dragon of the volcano to do his bidding, to kidnap the Princess of Egypt, and punish those that helped her escape the king's clutches.

Drawn into the sensuous joy of the Minoan people, the Princess of Egypt forgets her fears, but the mysterious attractive traveler may be the greatest threat yet. The princess' beloved--the Greek charioteer Aaron--collapses into a magic caused coma. Only a dangerous journey through the clashing cliffs to the healing waterfall will save him. The four friends travel across dangerous waters and exotic lands to protect their friends, and seek freedom to love whomever they choose.

Excerpt:

"Oh my god!" cried Drastos, as he stared at the group standing in the arena. "Aaron, look at that man in front of the line, facing the bull. It's Callius!"

"Your Greek friend Callius?" said Aaron. "The one who went to Crete?"

"The one sent to Crete to be sacrificed to a Minotaur," said Drastos. "It's true! The Minoans are going to sacrifice him to the bull. Callius, run!" Drastos waved his arm towards Callius on the court.

Several Minoans sitting near Drastos stared at him. Some uneasily murmured to each other.

"Slow down, Drastos!" urged Aaron grabbing his friend's arm. "You are jumping to conclusions."

Almost on Drastos' cue to run, Callius sprinted towards the bull.

"Oh, no it's too late," groaned Drastos, half covering his eyes. "Callius will be killed."
Callius grabbed the horns of the bull. The bull tossed his head to dislodge the man, but Callius used the momentum to somersault onto the bull's back, then he leapt off, into the arms of a woman waiting to help him land on his feet.

The crowd roared. Ariadne stood and threw a flowered circlet to Callius. "Congratulations, to our first bull vaulter of the season." Callius placed the circlet of flowers on his head, to the sound of more cheers, then he strode proudly off the court.

Drastos had peeked through his fingers as Callius vaulted the bull. "Callius must be insane," said Drastos. "He leapt over a bull. Why would Callius do such a dangerous thing?"

"The same reason Pira would." Sati pointed. "Look."

They returned their eyes to the court. Pira was next in line.

"Oh, Pira, please don't get hurt," whispered Mara. Aaron put his arm around Mara.

Pira focuses intently on the bull. She raced forward, wrapped her hands around the bull's horns. He tossed his head, throwing Pira into the air.
