Official Star Wars Fan Film Contest. Free Star Wars Music & Sounds. Winning Films Shown At Star Wars Celebration & Comic-Con.





 Star Wars has an official Fan Film contest as a celebration of fan creativity inspired by a galaxy far, far away.

Winner's films will screen in a special ceremony at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim in April 2015. Entrants videos may appear also at San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con or StarWars.com

 Categories for best selections are: Animation Non-fiction, Comedy, Spirit of Fandom, Visual Effects, Audience Choice and Filmmaker Select (chosen by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy)

Films may include officially licensed Star Wars posters, toys, costumes and accessories. A Free Star Wars Filmmaker Assets Pack is available for download, containing iconic Star Wars music and sounds. See link at bottom.

About the Filmmaker's Contest:

Maximum Film length is 5 Minutes long

Submit your film by 1/16/14 before midnight

Limit one entry per person

Age of filmmaker must by 13 years or older

Paula Sunsong is author of "Twilight of the Star Vampires" a parody of Star Wars, Star Trek and Twilight, and of "Twilight Daybreak" a sequel send up of Breaking Dawn. She also wrote "The Missing Princess of Egypt". Sunsong has worked as a reporter, private investigator, and worked on two films that went to the Sundance Film Festival.
